Verb Tenses

One of the more challenging parts of learning any language is learning which verb tense to use and when to use it. Some of the most common verb tenses in English include:

For the present tense: simple present; present continuous (or progressive)

For the past tense: simple past; past continuous (or progressive); present perfect; past perfect

For the future tense: simple future; present continuous (especially be going to)

While I’m not going to review them all now, this quiz will help you practice these verb tenses and will give you an idea of what you might still need to study and review. Have fun and review those verbs!

What is the correct verb form?
