Mad Lib Poem!

Way back when the dinosaurs walked the planet and I was a child, Mad Libs were all the craze. These were little stories with blank spaces in them and you could ask your friend, mom, dad, or brother or sister for certain kinds of words. For instance, you could ask them for a noun and they could give you any noun they could think of (“dog” or “bowl” or “sun”). You would fill the word in the blank and come up with a crazy and funny new story. (See the example below).

Well, today you can create your own poetry Mad Lib here. Test yourself. Put in some crazy, weird, and new vocabulary and see what kind of poem you can get. Above all, enjoy yourself!

And who said poetry can’t be fun?
