Adverbs Hangman

What is an adverb? An adverb describes a verb just like an adjective describes a noun. They often end in –ly (quickly, softly, quietly) which is the equivalent to –mente in Spanish (rapidamente, suavemente, tranquilamente). They are very helpful when talking about how something was done.

An example: He walked quickly to work.

Another example: She works very professionally.

Here is a fun Hangman game to practice your adverbs!
